Noida, Apr 28: To encourage reading habits in society, promote knowledge sharing, and support readers who are unable to purchase books due to limited resources, a Book Swap Program was organized at IMS Noida. Under this initiative, participants could exchange their old books for other books of their choice. During the Book Swap event held on Monday at the IMS Noida campus in Sector-62, more than 450 books were exchanged.

IMS Noida Hosts Book Swap Initiative for Learning and Sustainability

IMS Noida Vice President Mr. Chirag Gupta said that this initiative of the institution is an important step towards strengthening reading culture in society, spreading knowledge, and making education more accessible. He added that people often face difficulties in preserving their old books. Many times, books are sold as scrap or remain unused at home, while purchasing new books can be expensive. To address these issues, the institution organized this meaningful campaign.

IMS Noida Advisor Professor (Dr.) J.K. Sharma stated that the program would not only help people save money, but would also support needy students through the reuse of old books. He further said that the initiative is highly beneficial from an environmental perspective, as it promotes the reuse of books and reduces waste. Books ranging from nursery level to higher education could be exchanged free of cost under this campaign.

Dean Student Welfare, IMS Noida, Dr. Govind Prasad Goyal, informed that approximately 450 books were exchanged during the event held at the Sector-62 campus. Staff members, faculty, and students actively contributed to the success of the campaign by exchanging books related to Law, Accounts, HR, Management, Banking, Marketing, Business Mathematics, Advertising, and Communication.

The Book Swap Program received an enthusiastic response and highlighted IMS Noida’s commitment to social responsibility, sustainable practices, and educational empowerment.
