West Orange, NJ, April 25: Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, Jersey City Medical Center, Monmouth Medical Center, and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital have been named to Newsweek’s 2026 list of Best Maternity Care Hospitals. The annual list, presented by Newsweek and Statista, highlights the top maternity hospitals in the nation where families can find exceptional care during one of life’s most important moments. The 2026 list can currently be viewed on Newsweek’s website.
RWJBarnabas Health maternity hospitals deliver more than 25,000 babies each year and are committed to empowering women and families with knowledge and support throughout their birthing journeys—from the moment they consider starting a family to ongoing postpartum care.

The 2026 America’s Best Maternity Hospitals ranking is based on three pillars, including hospital quality metrics based on multiple data sources focused on indicators relevant to maternity care, patient experience, and reputation scores from physicians, hospital administrators, and healthcare professionals.
