Bhubaneswar, Apr 23: Birla Global University (BGU) a premier institution has reported an excellent campus hiring from more than 20 sectors, including Aggregator, Banking, BFSI, Cement, Consulting, IT, FMCD, FMCG, Healthcare, Insurance and many more, in its Campus Placement Drive 2026. Renowned MNCs like EY (Ernst & Young), ADP, Lloyds Banking Group, Deloitte, UltraTech, TCS and Federal Bank were among the top recruiters, reflecting the university’s strong position as an emerging talent hub in eastern India. Birla Global University has witnessed a significant increase in the 17+ LPA range.

Birla Group Legacy Shines: BGU Records INR 17 plus LPA Offers Across 20+ Sectors

In the Management domain, Automatic Data Processing (ADP), a Fortune 500 company, recruited five students for Analyst roles. Lloyds Technology Centre, the offshore centre of Lloyds Banking Group—one of the UK’s largest banking groups—hired 9students from MBA and M.Com programmes. Federal Bank extended offers with a CTC of INR 17 LPA, further strengthening the high-value placement segment. Global consulting leaders such as Ernst & Young (EY) emerged as prominent recruiters with 28 hires, while Deloitte recruited students from M.Com. In the core sector, UltraTech Cement recruited 3 female MBA students, highlighting its diversity and inclusion in hiring.

The Applied Sciences programmes, such as MCA, BCA, B.Sc. and Data Science, witnessed active recruitment from top IT and technology companies, including TCS, Deloitte and Tech Mahindra, offering roles across software development, analytics, and digital transformation. Students from the Law and Economics streams also secured decent opportunities at reputed companies, highlighting the university’s strong efficacy in interdisciplinary learning and career preparedness. 

The Birla School of Law secured placement offers from leading organizations, including Poovayya & Co., as well as legal consulting firms such as Pramata and QuisLex.

For Journalism and Mass Communication students, leading public relations firms including Burson, Archetype, Brandcomm, Adfactors PR and Torque Communications, participated actively in the placement drive.

In total, recruiters from more than 20 sectors—including Aggregator, Banking, BFSI, Cement, Consulting, FMCD, FMCG, Healthcare, Insurance, ITES, Logistics, Market Research, Retail, Security, Solar, Exports, Legal Consulting, IT, Public Relations, and News—visited the campus, showcasing the diverse opportunities available to students.
