Bengaluru, India Apr 23: Xiaomi India today announced the launch of the REDMI A7 Series in India, expanding its accessible smartphone portfolio with a focus on reliability, immersive display, and long-lasting battery performance.
The REDMI A7 features a large 6.88-inch display while the REDMI A7 Pro features a 6.9-inch HD+ display with support for up to 120Hz refresh rate, delivering smoother visuals and a more fluid viewing experience. Designed for comfort and usability, the display comes with triple TÜV Rheinland certifications for eye protection, along with wet touch technology to ensure consistent responsiveness across different conditions.
Both devices support 15W charging and feature smart battery management for efficient and optimized usage and comes with a 15W charger in the box while supporting 7.5W wired reverse charging, enabling added convenience for powering other devices.
The REDMI A7 Series comes with 64GB storage, paired with LPDDR4X RAM, and both devices support virtual RAM expansion for smoother multitasking and responsive performance across applications. Additionally, the series is equipped with a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera, delivering reliable results for photos, video calls, and everyday capture needs.
Additional features such as a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IP52-rated durability, and a 3.5mm headphone jack enhance practicality and convenience, making the device well-suited for a wide range of users.
The REDMI A7 Series offers a clean and intuitive software experience. Select features such as Google Gemini and Circle to Search further enhance usability with smarter, more intuitive interactions on the REDMI A7 Pro.
In terms of connectivity, the device supports dual nanoSIM, and includes a dedicated microSD card slot expandable up to 2TB, ensuring flexibility and ample storage options.
The REDMI A7 Series will be available across Mi.com, Amazon India, Flipkart, and Xiaomi retail outlets, with sales starting from 24th April.
