Hong Kong, April 18 (BNP): Bistro Hoi An welcomes the summer season with a vibrant celebration of Vietnam’s culinary heritage, featuring immersive dining experiences, seasonal specialties, and the debut of Hong Kong’s largest bamboo charcoal bánh mì.

Available in limited quantities at its ELEMENTS branch from April 23 to June 30, 2026, the highlight of the promotion is a striking 20-inch Bamboo Charcoal Bánh Mì. Crafted with crunchy charcoal-infused Vietnamese-style French bread, the sandwich is generously filled with house-made pâtés, five-spice pork belly, pork floss, pickled vegetables, herbs, chili, and traditional sauces—delivering a bold and authentic flavour profile. Only 20 pieces will be served daily, making it a must-try centrepiece for diners.
The launch coincides with Vietnam’s annual Bánh Mì Festival, adding a festive touch to the dining experience. Guests can pair the bánh mì with signature Vietnamese beverages at special prices, including classics like cà phê sữa, cà phê dừa, and cà phê muối.
In collaboration with Hoi An Roastery, the bistro also highlights Vietnam’s rich coffee culture, sourcing premium beans through sustainable, direct-trade practices that support local farmers and communities.
Beyond the signature bánh mì, diners can indulge in the Vietnamese Flavour Platter, a curated sharing experience featuring a variety of traditional appetisers served on a bamboo tray. Designed for group dining, the platter showcases a mix of textures and flavours, celebrating the essence of Vietnamese cuisine.
For special occasions, Bistro Hoi An introduces the Hoi An Heritage Family Menu, available on Mother’s Day (May 10, 2026) and Father’s Day (June 21, 2026). This thoughtfully crafted menu offers a selection of appetisers, mains, sides, and desserts designed for sharing, bringing families together over a rich and flavourful dining experience.
Seasonal à la carte additions further enhance the menu, featuring dishes inspired by Vietnam’s street food culture, including crispy pancakes, savoury rice cakes, seafood specialties, and premium grilled meats.
