This Delhi NGO is Quietly Transforming the Future of Underprivileged Children

New Delhi, India  Apr 10: What started as a small effort by a group of passionate individuals has today grown into a meaningful movement. Nanhe Pakshi, a Delhi-based non-profit, is consistently working towards improving the lives of underprivileged children through education, mentorship, and community support.

Founded in 2018 by Pallavi Kashyap Singh, the organization has developed a strong network of volunteers who dedicate their time to teaching and guiding children from underserved communities. Over the years, their work has reached thousands of children, helping them move closer to a more secure and hopeful future.

More Than Just Education

At its core, Nanhe Pakshi believes that education is not limited to textbooks. Through regular learning sessions, creative activities, and one-on-one mentorship, the organization focuses on building confidence, curiosity, and a sense of self-worth among children.

Its initiative, widely known as Project Paathshala, creates a safe and supportive space where children can learn freely and grow with dignity.

Driven by People, Powered by Purpose

A key strength of Nanhe Pakshi lies in its volunteer-driven model. Young individuals from diverse backgrounds come together with a shared purpose to contribute meaningfully to society.

From education programs to awareness drives and basic support initiatives, the organization continues to expand its reach, touching more lives with every passing year.

Looking Ahead

As Nanhe Pakshi continues to grow, its vision remains clear to ensure that every child, regardless of their circumstances, gets a fair opportunity to learn, grow, and build a better future.

Founder’s Note
Sharing her thoughts on the journey, founder Pallavi Kashyap Singh said: “Nanhe Pakshi started with a simple thought that even if we could make a difference in a few children’s lives, it would be enough. Over time, we’ve come to realize that when small efforts are made consistently, they have the power to transform many lives.”
