New Delhi, March 27: Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang joined the celebrations of Ram Navami in Gangtok, taking part in the sacred Kalash Yatra and Shobha Yatra held at MG Marg. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from devotees and dignitaries, reflecting the festive spirit and devotion marking the auspicious occasion.
The Chief Minister also accompanied the Governor Shri Om Prakash Mathur during the religious procession, highlighting the significance of unity and cultural harmony.
Later, Shri Tamang participated in the aarti at the Thakurbari Mandir, offering prayers along with devotees. The ceremony was marked by spiritual fervour, with chants and rituals creating a deeply devotional atmosphere.
Extending his greetings on the occasion, the Chief Minister prayed for peace, prosperity, and well-being of all citizens.
