Mumbai, Mar 25: Ashnoor Kaur, acclaimed actress known for her journey from child actor to Bigg Boss 18 contestant, shared her insights on personal branding, content consumption, and the global reach of Indian storytelling at Content India 2026, a three-day industry summit organized by Dish TV India. The event brought together over 700 participants from India and international markets to discuss the evolving creator economy, storytelling, and content distribution.
Speaking on the significance of personal branding in today’s competitive content ecosystem, Ashnoor Kaur said,
“It’s really important not just to be a content creator but to build your own personal brand. How you want to portray yourself and put yourself out there in the market really matters. Reach is important, but talent always outshines.”
She also reflected on the changing habits of audiences in the age of short-form content, noting,
“With attention spans decreasing, the hook of a video needs to be engaging for the viewer to watch the entire video. This shift demands creativity and innovation from creators like never before.”
Highlighting the international impact of Indian stories, Ashnoor added,
“It’s a wholesome experience to receive messages from viewers across the globe, including the US and Australia. Subtitles help break language barriers, showing how cinema has become a truly global experience.”
Ashnoor further acknowledged the role of platforms like Content India in expanding the conversation around storytelling.
“These initiatives are crucial. Stories today travel without boundaries, opening avenues that were unimaginable just a few years ago,” she said.
Content India 2026 served as a platform for creators, producers, and industry leaders to exchange ideas, explore new formats, and understand the global dynamics of content consumption, emphasizing the growing influence of the creator economy on the entertainment landscape.
