Bengaluru, Mar 24: The Faculty of Engineering and Technology at JAIN successfully hosted the inaugural FUTUREFORGE 2026 | The Tech Conclave at its JAIN Global Campus, Bengaluru, under the theme “Designing Tomorrow’s Machines, Minds and Microchips.”

The conclave brought together leading industry experts, researchers, and academicians to engage with students and faculty on transformative technologies shaping the future of global industries. The event featured four high-impact panel discussions covering artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, semiconductor innovation, electric vehicle batteries, and aerospace engineering.

Speaking on the occasion, Rabindra Bhandary, Vice President, JGI, said,

“FUTUREFORGE 2026 is designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world innovation by fostering meaningful interactions between students and industry leaders. Our goal is to empower students to think beyond conventional boundaries and develop solutions that are scalable, relevant, and future-ready.”

The conclave facilitated discussions on emerging technologies, including the growing influence of Agentic AI systems in enterprise decision-making, alongside concerns related to governance, ethics, and reliability. Experts also addressed the evolving cybersecurity landscape in the era of Large Language Models, emphasising the need for robust frameworks to counter increasingly sophisticated AI-driven threats.

Key sessions highlighted India’s push for technological self-reliance through Semiconductor Mission 2.0 and advancements in next-generation EV battery technologies aimed at improving efficiency, safety, and sustainability. In the aerospace domain, experts discussed the role of digital twin technology and AI-led simulations in transforming aircraft design, predictive maintenance, and system optimisation.

FUTUREFORGE 2026 provided students with a dynamic platform to interact directly with industry leaders, offering valuable insights into emerging technologies, evolving career pathways, and industry expectations. The conclave reinforced the importance of innovation, research, and interdisciplinary collaboration in engineering education.

The event witnessed participation from experts representing globally recognised organisations such as Western Digital, PwC, EY, Coforge, Fractal Analytics, QPI Volta, Expleo Group, and Centum Electronics, among others, highlighting strong cross-sector collaboration.
