New Delhi, Mar 20: The 33rd edition of Convergence India Expo 2026 alongside the 11th Smart Future Cities India Expo 2026 is set to take place from March 23–25, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam, bringing together global leaders, innovators, and policymakers to accelerate India’s digital and urban transformation.

Jointly organised by India Trade Promotion Organisation and Exhibitions India Group, with support from the IndiaAI Mission, Digital India, and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, the three-day event is expected to host over 50,000 attendees, 1,000 participating brands, and representatives from 25 countries.

Recognised as India’s longest-running and most influential technology expo, the event will showcase cutting-edge innovations across telecom, satellite communications, 6G, artificial intelligence, big data, IoT, cybersecurity, fintech, semiconductors, smart mobility, and digital governance.

Global technology leaders including Google, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, and Zoom will participate, alongside a distinguished lineup of speakers such as Anil Kumar Lahoti, Abhishek Singh, and international representatives including Sergey Cheremin.

Sharing his views, Jitan Ram Manjhi said, “Convergence India has long been a champion of India’s digital revolution. By supporting flagship initiatives like Digital India, Make in India, and the Smart Cities Mission, the expo provides a global platform to showcase ‘Brand India’ and unlock new economic opportunities.”

Highlighting the role of AI, Abhishek Singh added, “The Expo brings together government, industry, academia, and startups, strengthening India’s position as a trusted global technology partner while accelerating responsible AI innovation.”

Under the theme “India’s Impact: Tech Today, Transformation Tomorrow,” the expo will feature a dedicated Startup Hub, offering early-stage startups opportunities to pitch ideas, connect with investors, and gain mentorship from industry leaders. Past participants such as Fuselage Innovation, Proxgy, and Nimble Vision have leveraged this platform to achieve global recognition and funding success.

A key highlight this year is the increased international collaboration through country pavilions supported by governments including Moscow, Taiwan, and New Zealand. These pavilions will showcase advanced technologies and foster cross-border partnerships.

The exhibition floor will host major industry players such as Tesla, Qualcomm, Mahindra, and Honeywell. Notably, Tesla is set to showcase its latest automotive innovations and the Optimus humanoid robot, offering a glimpse into the future of intelligent mobility.

Another major attraction is the debut of the SIAM Lab – Smart Integrated Automotive Mobility Lab – by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers, bringing together automotive OEMs and technology leaders to drive innovation in mobility solutions.

The event will also host a Creator’s Session titled “The Future of Influence: Creators in the Age of AI & Algorithms,” featuring leading digital creators discussing the evolving content ecosystem shaped by AI and algorithm-driven platforms.

Commenting on the expo’s legacy, Chandrika Behl said, “Convergence India has evolved alongside India’s technology journey, transforming from a telecom-focused exhibition into a platform driving conversations around AI, smart mobility, and digital infrastructure.”

The conference will feature prominent policymakers and industry leaders, including Rajat Kumar Saini, Graham Rouse, and executives from companies such as Infosys, HCLTech, Capgemini, and Tata Communications.

With its expansive scale, global participation, and focus on emerging technologies, Convergence India Expo 2026 is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of India’s digital economy and smart urban ecosystems.
