New Delhi, Mar 20: India’s apex body for ethanol, bioenergy, and potable alcohol, the All India Distillers’ Association (AIDA), will host the Annual Distillers’ Conclave 2026 on 24 March 2026 at the Grand Ballroom, The Grand, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The highly anticipated industry gathering will bring together over 300 leading voices from India’s distillery, ethanol, and biofuel sectors for a day of forward-looking discussions on innovation, sustainability, and evolving policy frameworks.
The conclave will be graced by Chief Guest Sanjeev Chopra, Secretary, Department of Food & Public Distribution (DFPD), Government of India, whose presence underscores the growing national importance of the ethanol and bioenergy ecosystem in India’s economic and energy roadmap.
Other distinguished dignitaries from the Embassy of Brazil in India, NITI Aayog, Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry & others will also be gracing the occasion.
Positioned as a key industry platform, the event will enable dialogue between distillery leaders, ethanol producers, policymakers, technology providers, and sustainability experts. The agenda will feature keynote addresses, expert-led panels, and technical sessions exploring regulatory shifts, next-generation distillation technologies, and the sector’s expanding role in powering India’s energy transition.
As India accelerates its ethanol blending programme towards the E20 target, the distillery sector is emerging as a critical enabler of the country’s clean energy ambitions. The conclave comes at a pivotal juncture, providing stakeholders with a valuable platform to deliberate on key challenges and explore new green pathways in ethanol production, compressed biogas (CBG), green mobility, process innovation, and capacity expansion to meet the growing demand.

The event will conclude with a dedicated Industry Awards Evening, recognising excellence, leadership, and innovation across India’s distilling and ethanol landscape, while reinforcing the sector’s contribution to the country’s bioenergy ambitions.
