India, Mar 19th: The Centre of Healing will be expanding its services to meet the rising demand for mental health support from women as well. Women will now receive easy access to mental health professional help with daily stress, anxiety, and a variety of emotional problems.
They will also be establishing women-specific support group meetings and providing women with wellness programmes while offering counselling sessions specific to women’s needs. These changes will allow women to come together in a safe, inviting, and non-judgmental atmosphere to discuss their feelings and be provided with care and information from a trained and experienced professional.
These expansions are very timely for the number of women who are currently wearing multiple hats as employees, carers, and/or responsible for families (and will also affect their mental health). The Centre of Healing will ensure that all women can get access to the assistance they require without any hesitation or stigma.
“We want to provide a safe environment for women to speak freely about their feelings and get support and be empowered through receiving that support,” said Swatee Sawhney, director of the Centre of Healing. “When these women come to us, they should feel confident that they can receive the mental wellness services that they need.”
The Centre of Healing will provide professionals with training to offer counselling to women on a one-on-one basis and in group therapy, and they will also provide women with techniques to heal through mindfulness. Everything done at the Centre of Healing will be done to assist women with developing coping skills, enhancing emotional strength, and improving their mental health and well-being overall.
