New Delhi, Mar 18: Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang yesterday distributed sanction intimations and work orders for various disaster mitigation initiatives under the Land Revenue and Disaster Management Department at Samman Bhawan.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister stated that these initiatives mark a significant step towards strengthening disaster preparedness and resilience across the state. He emphasised that the measures are aimed at providing meaningful support to vulnerable communities and ensuring timely assistance to those in need.
Highlighting the government’s commitment to proactive governance, Shri Tamang noted that the initiatives reflect a focused approach to minimizing disaster risks while enhancing community safety and infrastructure readiness.
During the programme, the Chief Minister urged beneficiaries to carry out the sanctioned works with sincerity and dedication, stressing the importance of transparency and timely execution.
