For generations, education systems have equated learning with marks, ranks, and report cards. Classrooms function as spaces that enable teachers to deliver information which students must memorize and reproduce during examinations. Albert Einstein defined education to be more than learning facts because it teaches students to develop their thinking abilities. The present time needs this concept more than any previous period. The modern world presents its greatest challenge to people because they need to develop their ability to assess information instead of having direct access to knowledge.

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 in India establishes a new educational framework which creates a distinct learning path for students. The policy requires schools to stop using rote memorization methods and instead implement a complete educational approach which develops students’ ability to think critically while fostering their creative abilities. The educational system needs to develop all aspects of a student’s development which includes their intellectual development and their emotional development and their ethical development. Schools that implement mindfulness and reflection practices along with gratitude and meaningful dialogue during their daily learning schedule enable students to develop emotional awareness together with resilience skills. Students develop skills to control their stress levels while maintaining their concentration and finding equilibrium in their daily activities.

The learning process receives equal strength from both experiential learning and its corresponding learning method. Students who participate in physical activities and artistic activities and actual problem solving and social service work, they develop a more dynamic and enduring learning experience. The first science experiment creates a motivation to learn. The second activity helps people build self-assurance through their theatre work. People who participate in community projects develop their ability to care for others. The experiences students go through create their knowledge base and direct their development as individuals. Education serves a dual function as both professional training and complete preparation for existence.

The future leaders and innovators and active citizens need more than what academic knowledge provides. They will need emotional strength and ethical judgment and adaptability and the ability to work with others in an uncertain world. A partnership between schools and parents and local communities serves as the essential requirement for educational transformation. Our mission requires us to develop educational spaces which inspire students to learn while showing their progress through academic growth and their character development. The true value of education shows itself through two elements, which include the of academic achievements students and their personal development throughout their educational journey.

Education which develops all three aspects of human existence, which include mind, heart, and soul, produces students who succeed academically but also prepares them to become citizens who will contribute positively to their society.
