Our pledge is to continue raising the standard of care we provide.”

The annual evaluation by Newsweek and global data platform Statista assessed more than 2,500 hospitals across 32 countries for 2026. Each hospital was rigorously reviewed and given a score based on four primary data sources. The criteria included recommendations from tens of thousands of medical experts, including doctors, hospital managers and other healthcare professionals. The scoring also factored in hospital quality metrics, existing patient experience data and Statista’s Patient-Reported Outcome Measures Implementation Survey.

These standardized, validated questionnaires were completed by patients to measure well-being and overall quality of life.
