India, Mar 13: Sonos  continues to deepen its presence in India, bringing the third edition of Sonos Sound Suites to Bengaluru. An India-first program, the series celebrates homegrown music while reflecting how the country is choosing to live with sound. As homes across India become more design-led and lifestyle-driven, sound is emerging as an intentional layer of modern living – expressive, immersive and integrated into the architecture of everyday life. Sonos Sound Suites builds on this shift, creating space for intimate listening, shared experience and deeper connection.

Hosted at The Conservatory on 12 March 2026, the Bengaluru chapter brought together live performances by artists Sakré and Sahana Naresh, alongside Listening Room sessions curated by renowned music archivist Nishant Mittal. The evening blended Carnatic melodies with retro-futurist textures and ambient city soundscapes – reflecting the layered musical identity that defines Bengaluru.

With its expanding premium housing market and vibrant independent music culture, Bengaluru plays a key role in Sonos’ plans to scale its presence across India. Ranked among the world’s top five cities for prime residential growth, it reflects a broader shift in high-end home design – where sound is considered as carefully as space and form.

“In cities like Bengaluru, where design-forward living is evolving rapidly, sound throughout the home is becoming an integral part of its architecture. The Sonos system enables sound to flow effortlessly across spaces and moments – from movie nights and gatherings to relaxation – adapting to the way people live. With adoption already strong in India, Bengaluru represents a natural next step in extending Sonos to more homes where beautiful design, great sound and seamless entertainment are part of everyday living,” said Rennie Addabbo, General Manager, APAC at Sonos.

Rahul Dutta, India Country Manager at Sonos added:

“Bengaluru’s vibrant community of musicians, designers and tastemakers reflects a city that values thoughtfully curated living. It was a fitting setting for the next edition of Sonos Sound Suites – an intimate listening experience designed to spotlight the city’s distinctive and evolving music culture, where tradition, design and audio innovation intersect.”

At the heart of Sonos’ approach is collaboration with the creators themselves – working with leading producers and engineers across music and film globally to fine-tune the home listening experience.

Reflecting that spirit in Bengaluru, local artist and producer Sakré said,

“There is a difference between hearing music and truly listening. When traditional instrumentation meets modern textures, layers can easily get lost. Shared listening experiences like Sonos Sound Suites create moments of presence, while the Sonos system maintains the clarity and depth that preserve the integrity of the music.”

Introduced in 2025 as an India-first program, Sonos Sound Suites celebrates the country’s evolving sonic identity – where tradition and contemporary expression meet through intentional listening. More than a showcase, it embodies a way of living where sound is valued as deeply as design within Indian homes.
