
Mumbai, Mar 12: SMK Helmets, a global Indian helmet brand driven by continuous product innovation, technological expertise and an uncompromising pursuit of excellence, has partnered the Moto4 Latin Cup as the official technical helmet sponsor. The championship is part of the prestigious Road to MotoGP racing ecosystem, a structured international ladder that supports emerging riders as they progress toward professional circuit racing. With this partnership, SMK becomes the first global Indian helmet brand to officially enter international motorsport through a Road to MotoGP championship, marking an important milestone in the brand’s international journey.
Riders in the championship will compete wearing SMK’s Titan Carbon Racing, developed specifically for the demands of circuit competition.
The Moto4 Latin Cup forms part of the prestigious Road to MotoGP initiative serves as one of the regional championships within the global Road to MotoGP structure. The 2026 season will feature 12 rounds across leading circuits in Brazil and Argentina, bringing together young riders from across the Americas to compete on identical Honda NSF250R race machines. The championship begins March 20–22 in Goiânia, Brazil, a country with a rich legacy in international motorcycle racing alongside the return of the MotoGP Brazilian Grand Prix. It provides a competitive platform for emerging riders to gain experience in professional circuit racing. More than a development platform, it represents a true “Road to the Dream” for young racers aspiring to progress through the international racing ladder.
Backed by over fifty years of helmet manufacturing expertise, SMK now extends its commitment to safety and performance onto the international racing grid, where speed, precision and passion demand the highest standards of protection.
As part of the partnership, SMK will equip competing riders with the Titan Carbon Racing, a race-spec version of its Titan Carbon helmet platform developed for circuit competition. Built around a lightweight carbon fibre shell and a race-oriented interior configuration, the helmet is ECE 22.06 certified and engineered to deliver protection, stability and comfort at racing speeds.
Designed with the performance priorities of modern track competition in mind, Titan Carbon Racing combines lightweight construction, aerodynamic stability and rider-focused comfort, reflecting the design principles seen in high-performance racing helmets.
This partnership represents an important step in SMK’s long-term vision to strengthen its presence in international racing while continuing to advance helmet technology for riders worldwide.
More than a branding initiative, the collaboration also marks a meaningful step in the brand’s evolution. Racing environments provide valuable real-world insights into aerodynamics, ventilation, stability and rider comfort under high-speed conditions. These learnings contribute to the continuous development of helmets designed for everyday riders globally. On-track data and rider feedback from the championship will also contribute to SMK’s ongoing helmet development programme.
