New Delhi,  Mar 11: Radisson Hotel Group has announced the signing of Radisson Hotel Kishangarh, marking its entry into the rapidly growing commercial and tourism hub of Kishangarh in Rajasthan. Known as the “City of Marbles” and celebrated for its heritage of miniature paintings, Kishangarh plays a significant role in India’s marble trade while also benefiting from religious and leisure tourism from nearby destinations such as Ajmer and Pushkar.

Radisson Hotel Group Expands Rajasthan Portfolio with 150-Key Kishangarh Property

The signing reinforces Radisson Hotel Group’s strategy of expanding its presence in emerging markets and culturally significant destinations. With this addition, the Group will mark its 20th property in Rajasthan, further strengthening its footprint in the state.

Prime Airport-Facing Location

Strategically located just off the Delhi–Ajmer Expressway and directly opposite Kishangarh Airport, the hotel will benefit from excellent regional connectivity and high visibility in a rapidly developing tourism and commercial corridor. The airport offers air connectivity to major domestic hubs including Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Surat, Indore and Nagpur.

The property is also expected to benefit from leisure and pilgrimage traffic to prominent spiritual sites such as Ajmer Sharif Dargah and the sacred town of Pushkar.

Designed for Business, Social and MICE Segments

The upcoming Radisson Hotel Kishangarh will feature 150 well-appointed rooms and suites, contemporary dining options, and flexible meeting and event spaces. Designed to serve a wide range of travellers, the hotel will cater to business guests, weddings, social gatherings, and MICE events while integrating modern hospitality with the region’s distinctive cultural and artistic heritage.

Early Entry into an Emerging Hospitality Market

Commenting on the development, Nikhil Sharma said Kishangarh is emerging as a high-potential hospitality market driven by commercial travel, religious tourism, and improving connectivity.

“Located within a 30–45 km radius of Ajmer and Pushkar and adjacent to Kishangarh Airport, the city enjoys steady year-round demand but has limited penetration of branded hotels. The signing of Radisson Hotel Kishangarh allows us to establish an early-mover advantage in a market where organised hospitality supply remains underdeveloped. Supported by the region’s strong marble and manufacturing ecosystem and consistent pilgrimage-led travel, we see sustainable long-term demand across corporate, leisure and event segments,” Sharma said.

Strengthening Growth in Tier-2 Markets

Highlighting the Group’s expansion strategy, Davashish Srivastava noted that Kishangarh’s location between Ajmer and Pushkar, combined with improving air connectivity and strong tourism demand, makes it an ideal destination for the Radisson brand.

“This signing reflects our strategy to expand in underpenetrated yet high-growth markets that offer strong fundamentals and long-term value. We look forward to developing a landmark property that combines global hospitality standards with strong local relevance,” he said.

Partnering on the project, Rajendra Gupta emphasised that the collaboration marks an important milestone for the development in Kishangarh.

“As the city continues to grow as a centre for trade, travel and tourism, partnering with an internationally recognised brand like Radisson brings valuable operational expertise and market reach. We are confident the hotel will set new benchmarks for hospitality in the region and contribute to the city’s economic and tourism growth,” he said.

Expanding Presence Across India

The hotel is scheduled to open in Q2 2027 and is expected to leverage its strategic location and early market entry to achieve strong market penetration.

Radisson Hotel Group continues to maintain a strong presence in India with over 200 hotels in operation and development. The Group is the largest international hotel operator in the Delhi NCR market and has more than 50% of its portfolio located in tier-2 and tier-3 cities.

Its portfolio in India includes brands such as Radisson Collection, Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson RED, Park Inn by Radisson, Park Plaza, and Radisson Individuals along with its extension Radisson Individuals Retreats, reflecting the Group’s commitment to delivering diverse hospitality experiences across the country.
