Bangalore, Mar 11: In observance of World Hearing Day, Aster RV Hospital reaffirmed its commitment to advancing hearing and balance healthcare by organizing a Free Hearing & Vertigo Screening Camp.

On World Hearing Day, Aster RV Hospital Conducts Free Hearing & Vertigo Screening Camp, Benefitting 100+ Individuals

 As part of the initiative, the hospital also extended special discounts on hearing aids to support patients requiring assistive devices.

The initiative witnessed participation from over 100+ individuals and aimed at promoting early detection and timely intervention for hearing and balance disorders. The camp offered comprehensive Audiometry and OAE (Otoacoustic Emissions) screenings, detailed ENT consultations and expert guidance on Vestibular Rehabilitation for patients experiencing vertigo and balance-related concerns.

The screening camp was led by an experienced team of specialists, including Dr. Vinayak Kurle, Consultant – ENT; Dr. Vijaya Bhaskar S M, Senior Consultant – ENT; and Dr. Palak Dengla, Chief Physiotherapist. Participants received personalized assessments and counselling on further management wherever required.

Hearing loss and vestibular disorders often go unnoticed in their early stages, significantly impacting communication, mobility, and overall quality of life. World Hearing Day serves as an important reminder that proactive screening, structured rehabilitation and timely medical intervention can prevent long-term complications and restore confidence in daily living.
