Rahul Gupta, Business Head of Stryder, commented on the launch, “We believe that e-bicycles play a crucial role in India’s energy transition. Together with the government’s forward-thinking initiatives, we are helping to create a more sustainable transportation ecosystem in the country. The rise in popularity of e-bikes stems from the convenience it brings to the traditional cycling experience making it the most efficient and eco-friendly transportation alternative. Our new e-bike models, Voltic X and Voltic GO, offer an eco-friendly, health-conscious alternative that perfectly aligns with urban commuting needs and TATA Group’s sustainability goals.”

Since its inception in 2012, Stryder has grown its presence to over 4,000 retail outlets across India and expanded its export operations to SAARC, Africa, and Middle Eastern countries.

The Voltic X and Voltic GO feature a 48V high-efficiency, splash-proof battery with fast-charging capabilities. The bikes can be fully charged in just three hours and offer a range of up to 40 kilometers on a single charge. The Voltic GO targets riders seeking comfort and ease. Its step-through frame design makes it particularly appealing to female riders and those who prioritize accessibility. For the more adventurous urban commuter, the Voltic X offers a mountain bike-style design with a suspension fork, suitable for city streets and light off-road use.

Both models come with a two-year warranty on the battery, dual disc brakes with automatic power cut-off for enhanced safety, and are designed to cater to the growing demand for sustainable transport options in India’s rapidly expanding cities.

As the electric vehicle market in India continues to evolve, Stryder’s expansion of its e-bike range represents a significant move in the two-wheeler segment, offering consumers more choices in the transition to cleaner, greener transportation.
