Mar 02: At a time when rivers across the globe face mounting threats from pollution, climate change, and unsustainable development, #LetterToRiver emerges as a powerful global call to action inviting citizens, especially young people, to reconnect emotionally with rivers and raise a united voice for their protection.

Rivers have long been lifelines of civilizations, ecosystems, and cultures. They nourish lands, provide drinking water, sustain biodiversity, and shape communities. Yet today, many rivers are under severe stress. The #LetterToRiver campaign seeks to transform awareness into action by encouraging individuals to express their connection, gratitude, concerns, and hopes for rivers through handwritten letters.
