Raleigh, N.C., Feb 26 — Driivz, a Vontier (NYSE: VNT) company and leading global software supplier to electric vehicle (EV) charging operators and service providers, today announced a partnership with XLR8 America, an EV Charging as a Service (CaaS) provider, to optimize its network’s charging and energy management. The company’s 5,000+ charging sites will be managed on the Driivz platform, enhancing reliability, scalability and operational excellence.

By utilizing Driivz’s hardware-agnostic platform, XLR8 America gains detailed insights and flexible controls to provide a scalable and flexible end-to-end solution for its network of public chargers, spanning a variety of businesses, including hospitality venues, multi-dwelling units (MDUs), hotels, casinos, quick-service restaurants and big-box retailers. The platform’s customization will also allow XLR8 to adapt its monetization strategy to the unique needs of each business in its charging network.

XLR8 America will utilize the following capabilities within Driivz’s smart EV charging and energy management software platform to provide seamless charging experiences across the entirety of its network:

EV Charging Operations Management: Optimization of EV charging operations, including charger status monitoring, proactive issue resolution with advanced algorithms for self-healing capabilities and remote issue management. These operations optimizations will allow XLR8 America to maximize network stability and uptime.
Smart Energy Management: Controls and data-driven insights to address various energy challenges and grid constraints, while utilizing local renewable energy resources and on-site battery storage. This capability will allow XLR8 America to balance loads throughout the day and overcome local grid capacity, while lowering costs.
Level 1 and Level 2 Support Services: Offering an end-to-end solution for support services for EV charge point operators. The call center provides a 24/7/365 follow-the-sun support center to help with charger issues or malfunctions, and a Network Operations support center for remote tracking, management and issue resolution.
Billing Management: A highly configurable billing engine will allow XLR8 to scale and monetize its network with competitive business models tailored to diverse customer segments.
Driver App and Web Portal: Drivers will have full control over their EV charging experience, allowing them to easily search for a charging station, navigate there, plug in, charge and pay. XLR8 America will offer billing transparency, including easy access to charging history, detailed invoices with full pricing information, cost breakdowns and more.
