Khushi Kumar is a new-age fashion designer reinterpreting Indian tradition for a global audience through her label KHUSHI KUMAR, established between New Delhi and London. Guided by her philosophy, “Krafted in Time, Kurated for Now,” she blends heritage craftsmanship with contemporary storytelling to create pieces that connect modern women to their cultural roots. On 21st February 2026 at 9:00 PM GMT, she made her international runway debut at London Fashion Week, presenting her collection at Fashion Scout’s Ones to Watch Catwalk at Protein Studios – 31 New Inn Yard, Shoreditch, London EC2A 3EY, marking a significant milestone for the emerging Indian luxury house.

“Kalanta- awakening of the house is an eight – look runway collection that unfolds a study of protection, air and identity” The collection contains sculpted corsets and structured tailoring of oversized, formed clothing, along with flowing garments. The garments use custom Banaras zari and deep burgundy velvet that reference ceremonial Indian jewelry to enrich their forms. The capes provide a modern type of armor, while the vine motifs represent the growth and continued lineage of the Khushi Kumar woman—demonstrating both the power and gentleness of her character through a modern and refined lens.

Acclaimed actor Pooja Hegde was the showstopper for this finale of the show, during which she embraced the spirit of KALANTA — The House Awakens; wearing one of the powerful new collection ensembles at Khushi Kumar’s international debut, embodying the new spirit of strength, class, and newly awakened identity.

Khushi Kumar says, “With KALANTA and with every single collection I design, I would like to honour Indian craftsmanship by presenting it in an impactful, modern way. The collection is about awakening to the concept of identity, heritage, and strength.”
