Feb 23: The University of Leeds is now welcoming applications for its full-time, 12-month MSc in Health Informatics with Data Science, starting in September 2026. This innovative programme equips students with the expertise to leverage health data and informatics for evidence-based healthcare, blending advanced skills in data science, statistics, and healthcare systems. Participants gain hands-on experience analysing real-world healthcare data and learn how to transform insights into actionable solutions that influence policy and practice.

Offered by the Faculty of Medicine and Health in partnership with the Institute of Health Sciences and the Department of Computer Science, this interdisciplinary master’s programme trains students to tackle complex healthcare challenges using modern informatics techniques. The curriculum combines core modules and research projects covering statistics and modelling, human factors, artificial intelligence, and the legal, ethical, and governance aspects of health data. Students can further customise their learning through elective modules to align with their professional goals and interests.

Entry Requirements: First class or grade equivalent undergraduate degree in a relevant subject from a recognised Indian university.

English Language Requirements: Students will need Standard XII English at 70% or 75% depending on the state board, or IELTS 6.5 overall, with no less than 6.0 in any component.
